Hossegor

Hossegor is a lovely small town located in les Landes, south west of France and famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, its amazing surf and its 'douceur de vivre'. Some people compare it to California... It definitely has a special energy, a beautiful light, a "je ne sais quoi" that makes it really unique! I have been going there for many many years now and do not tire of it. The ocean, the waves, the smells, the atmosphere... everything is  still magical in my eyes.

Yoga and Surf

You can come on your own or come with your teenage child. There will be something for everyone! Adult and Teen classes will be separate.

This holiday is an investment in you, your teen, your relationship with her/him, your well being and your health. 

And because yoga helps with the balances, the focus, the stretches, the toning, the strengthening of the body and the mind, it is a wonderful complement to surfing. It also avoids many injuries as we will warm up before the lessons.  Surfing is really hard work but it is also fun, exhilarating, frustrating, elating, challenging and really really cool!

Surfing is optional and you can instead try to paddle board on the lake, walk on the beach or stay in your chaise longue and read a book.

Accommodation

The house where the yoga classes will take place is an exceptional "Art Deco" basque house called Villa Les Pieds Rouges (Villa The Red Feet). 

The house is built directly on the sea front with a direct access to the beach and only a 2 minutes walk to the surf school.

It has stunning ocean views from the living room, the terrace and four of the bedrooms. 

The inside of the house has been fully renovated in 2021 with a lovely mix of authentic art deco furniture and more modern pieces.

On the ground floor, the villa offers a large kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a utility room as well as a terrace facing the ocean and a garden at the back of the villa.

On the first and second floors, 8 bedrooms welcome you.

• Bedroom 2 (garden view): 2 single beds + shared shower room with bedroom 1

• Bedroom 3 (ocean view): king size bed with en-suite bathroom

I really recommend staying in the house with me. 

But you are also welcome to stay in a hotel or a flat if you prefer.
